WBCHSE | WBCHSE shines more than CBSE,ISC
KOLKATA: Higher Secondary students have scored better than their CBSE and ISC counterparts in this year's IIT-JEE exams, unlike previous years.
To begin with, South Point High School student Souvik Ganguly was the topper from the state with a rank of 114. He was followed by Avishek Roy from Jadavpur Vidyapeeth who ranked 133rd, Avirup Dasgupta from Hemshila Model School who ranked 155th, Swarnava Chattoraj of Bankura Zilla School with 173rd rank and Subhodeep Chaudhuri from Kolaghat Thermal power Plant High School whose IIT rank is 212. All these schools are affiliated to the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).
